Tasting notes
- exterior
Bright reddish garnet color. - scent
The fragrance is very rich and complex. Ripe sour cherries, plums, blackberries, blueberries, raspberry jam and barrel-derived cloves, cinnamon, violet and chocolate nuances are felt. About 20 minutes after uncorking, the sour cherry jam-like aroma becomes noticeable. The nuances of rain-soaked trees and tobacco leaves also show up. - Taste
Breed characteristics are well expressed. The attack is supple and soft, with plenty of tannins, but never leaves a gritty finish on the tongue. The right amount of acid brings all the elements together beautifully. The slightly fragrant barrel scent and sweet spices blend in well-balanced and have a moderate volume. It has an overall well-rounded taste. The aftertaste is medium and lingering. Like the scent, the taste also makes you feel sour cherries and sour cherry jam. - food that goes well with
With a supple mouthfeel and a warm taste, this red wine goes well with any dish and can be used at the dining table. It goes especially well with spaghetti bolognese, salami, prosciutto and liver pate . - note creator
