Introductory notes

Riesling is considered by many to be one of the most elegant grape varieties. It can produce elegant wines known for their exquisite flavors.

It expresses its potential only in limited cool climates, and its cultivation area is not as extensive as Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc.

In Japan, most Riesling enthusiasts tend to favor German wines. Very few have encountered Rieslings from outside Germany that truly captivates them.

The "Maria Riesling 2021" is a Romanian wine that allows you to rediscover the greatness of Riesling.

  A bright, pale lemon color.
  
• Nose
  It has floral (apple blossom, jasmine, acacia), white fruits (green apple, pear), citrus (lime, lemon, grapefruit peel), white peach and apricot aromas, complemented by mineral (flint, wet gravel) and discrete kerosene notes.
  
• Palate
  A wine with elegance and finesse. It has flavors of peach, citrus, and hints of tropical fruits, along with a refined mineral sensation. The balance between acidity and a solid body is excellent, with all elements blending seamlessly.
  
• Food pairing
  This wine pairs well with Italian cuisine, yakitori, gratin, creamy pasta dishes, yogurt-based sauces, grilled octopus, and grilled squid.

We offer gift boxes for both single bottles and two bottles, along with wrapping and noshi (Japanese ceremonial wrapping) services.

You will receive an email from us containing your receipt or invoice. It will include our registered corporate number (適格請求書発行事業者登録番号), making it an official receipt. For business customers with monthly billing, you will receive a consolidated invoice by email at the end of each month. Please note that the Japanese authorities do not require a printed receipt or invoice; therefore, we will only send you electronic forms for environmental reasons.
