The grape

In Romania, in addition to the grape varieties commonly found worldwide like Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, or Merlot, there are also many indigenous grape varieties that have been cultivated continuously for centuries. Among these, one of the most promising varieties is Fetească neagră. It's considered the flagship of Romanian red grapes and is grown in a wide range of climates, from cool to warm regions.

Fetească neagră is a versatile grape variety, used to produce fresh and easy-drinking rosé wines to rich and full-bodied wines, showcasing the diversity of this grape.

The [Corcova Fetească Neagră 2019] may not undergo oak aging, but it still exhibits a robust and concentrated character thanks to the use of extremely high-quality grapes.
