Caii de la Letea Winery

Cai de la Letea Winery is dedicated to showcasing the unique potential of the Aligoté grape to the world.

The winery owns vineyards in the Sarica Niculițel region, near the Black Sea, an area with a rich history and tradition in viticulture spanning thousands of years. They deeply respect this tradition, combining it with the latest winemaking techniques to produce outstanding wines that maintain the essence of the grape and highlight the terroir's characteristics. Under the blazing sun of the Dobrogea region, their wines exude natural elegance, much like the wild horses living freely in the area.

Paul FULEA

A highly acclaimed winemaker both domestically and internationally, Paul FULEA is dedicated to using wild yeast and maximizing the potential of terroir in his winemaking style. He is known for challenging conventions and regulations, relentlessly pursuing the highest quality standards, and elevating Romanian wine culture to the highest level.

Having learned extensively from his father and mentor, Nicolae, Paul is involved in various activities, from vineyard work to export procedures. His most cherished principle is "terroir." He continuously strives to grow better grapes and make superior wines, always respecting and honoring the land. His deep connection to the land and his values will surely resonate with you.
