Welschriesling
Welschriesling is a white grape variety cultivated primarily in Eastern European countries.
It is mainly grown in Romania (5,622 hectares), Croatia (4,500 hectares), and Austria (3,338 hectares).
Also known as Riesling Italico, it is referred to as Riesling Italian in Romania, Laški Rizling in Slovenia, Olaszrizling in Hungary, and Grasevina in Croatia. In the Czech Republic and Slovakia, it is called Ryzlink vlašský.
