On Sunday, November 24, we will host a special event to celebrate the publication of the poetry collection "Things in the World", by the Japanese author Keiko Ichikawa. Enjoy a glass of wine while listening to a live poetry reading.

Part 1
Let’s all gather to view the original cover art by artist LaiQ and discuss what images we see in it.
Part 2
If you feel like reading a poem, you are welcome to do so. Whether it’s reading your own poem, sharing a favorite poem, performing music, or just sharing memories with the audience—anything goes! Of course, you're welcome to simply watch and enjoy the event.

Author Profile
- Keiko Ichikawa.
- Born in Yokosuka City in 1976, currently residing in Yokohama
- Graduated from Waseda University, Faculty of Letters II
- Her works include the poetry collection "Tonight, The Matador" (Bungeisha)
- Her poem "Thin Ice" was awarded an honorable mention in the 50th New Poet Award.
- She has contributed poems to anthologies such as "40 Poems to Give to Middle School Students" (PHP Institute) and "Poetry to Bring Hope to Children" (Kolsakusha).
- Her poem "Things in the World" was published in the Tokyo Shoseki moral code textbook and was adapted as a choral piece for the Yokohama National University Kamakura Middle School.
- She has also contributed a series of haiku to collections such as "Okinawa Poetry Anthology: Winds of Ryukyu and Amami" and "Multicultural Coexistence Poetry Anthology of Asia: From Syria to India, Hong Kong, and Okinawa".
- Currently a member of the poetry journal Tonbo (Bunjido Bookstore).
- Pen name: Ichikawa Keiko, member of the Japan Haiku Association.

- Born in Honmoku, Yokohama, graduated from Tama Art University with a degree in oil painting.
- Has held solo exhibitions both in Japan and abroad.
- Pursues abstract painting that expresses rhythm and dynamism, like the improvisation of jazz, through vibrant colors.
