Concept

According to Roman mythology, the Column of Hercules was built by Hercules himself, near the Strait of Gibraltar. The Pillars of Hercules marked the end of the known world. The words "Nec Plus Ultra" were inscribed, meaning "nothing ahead" or "no more," as a warning to sailors. Jidvei's winemakers have adopted this motto for their wine series "Nec Plus Ultra," spending years crafting wines worthy of it. Enjoy the results.

Appearance

Clear, salmon pink color.

Nose

Initial notes of raspberry and acerola are prominent. Following this, aromas of sour cherry, wild strawberry, pink pepper, and violets emerge. After a few minutes, subtle hints of butterscotch, cherry jam, and raspberry jam appear.

Palate

A smooth texture blends gentle sweetness and sharp acidity, spreading gracefully across the palate. The mouthfeel is velvety, providing an exquisite drinking experience. The finish is fruit-forward, with lingering aromas of raspberry, fruit blossom, and pomegranate. This rosé is perfectly balanced.

Food pairing

Pairs well with ratatouille, prosciutto, fresh cheeses, and shrimp sushi.
