Skorimanskyie Grape Variety

Skorimanskyie is a white grape variety grown in the Odessa region of southern Ukraine. It was developed in 1949 as a cross between [Chardonnay] and [Plavai]. Versatile in nature, it is used in a range of wine styles, from sparkling to dessert wines.

Appearance

Pale lemon color.

Nose

Aromas of orchard flowers, grapes, melon, pear drop, green apple, white cherry, banana, geranium, white peach, acacia flowers, and a hint of orange peel.

Palate

Refreshing citrus flavors of grapefruit and lemon peel dominate, offering a youthful, fresh profile. Light-bodied with pleasant acidity, perfectly balanced.
