Săhăteni Winery

Domeniile Săhăteni

Founded in 2003 by Aurelia Vișinescu and her associate, Steve Cacenco, Săhăteni Winery currently encompasses 82 hectares of vineyards and a state-of-the-art winery for processing, bottling, and aging wines. The underground cellar, equipped with Romanian and French oak barrels, provides optimal conditions for aging selected wine lots. The winemaking style blends Old World and New World techniques, with wines produced in small batches.

At Săhăteni Winery, I met dedicated professionals who, through their wines, bring honor to Romania both locally and abroad. The wines are crafted in perfect harmony with nature and are a direct result of the meticulousness and excellence of those who produce them.

The winery’s winemaker is Aurelia Vișinescu, a distinguished figure in the European wine industry. Her passion for wine, dedication to research, and commitment to offering consumers the highest quality wines have earned her international recognition over time.
