Tasting notes

Appearance

A brilliant, purple-tinged deep ruby color.

Nose

The richness of the aroma is overwhelming. It reveals the true nature of the Fetească Neagră grape. Predominant fruit aromas include violets, strawberry, black cherry, sour cherry, blackberry, blueberry, plum, fig, and cassis, accompanied by hints of coffee, cocoa, clove, licorice, and black pepper.

Palate

A New World style wine that delights with its youthfulness, freshness, and abundant fruitiness. The balance between acidity, tannins, and fruitiness is impeccably maintained, resulting in a wonderful mouthfeel and a very pleasant drinking experience. Notes of black fruits with a hint of spice are discernible. The aftertaste is fruit-forward. It's dry with moderate acidity, pronounced tannins, and moderate alcohol content. It has a medium body with rich flavors and a long finish.
