Every year on November 7th, wine lovers around the world reunite to celebrate one of the most beloved grape varieties: Merlot. To mark this occasion with our valued community, Daniel’s Wine Club organises an annual special tasting dedicated to Romanian Merlot—an opportunity to explore unique expressions, share the moment, and raise a glass together.
An Evening of Romanian Merlot
Join us for a special evening exploring the richness and diversity of Romanian Merlot through six carefully selected wines. These selections span a range of price tiers, allowing you to experience the influence of soil, climate, winemaking styles, and vintage variation. Whether you're a Merlot enthusiast or just beginning to explore the grape, this tasting promises discovery and delight for all levels.
The Charm of Romanian Merlot
Romania, a rising star among Eastern European wine regions, is known for its wide range of soil types and elevations. Among the red grape varieties, Merlot has firmly taken root as a variety capable of expressing refined and elegant fruit character.
Romanian winemakers skillfully blend tradition with modern techniques—using French oak aging and precise temperature control during fermentation to craft Merlots that are both vibrant and structured.
From one region to another, the grape reveals different personalities, shaped by climate, planting density, and vineyard orientation. Romanian Merlot offers a unique expression of its diverse land—every glass tells a different story.

1) You may enter the classroom starting 15 minutes before the lesson begins.
2) Without ringing the intercom, take the elevator to room 701 on the 7th floor. Enter without knocking on the door. (Please do not come earlier than 15 minutes before the lesson.)
3) You can use the coat hooks and luggage storage area in the hallway. Please place your shoes in the shoebox and proceed to the classroom with the sanitized slippers we prepared for you.

If an event or lesson is canceled due to a state of emergency or at the organizer's discretion, a full refund will be provided.
If you need to cancel due to personal reasons, you can reschedule your participation to another event or lesson.
If you decide to reschedule, please do so via the [Reschedule Events / Lessons] form, before the event or lesson you want to cancel. Rescheduling is not possible for no-shows.
For events or courses, the [Order Confirmation] email is the only notification you will receive (you will not receive other receipts, invoices or notifications).

Alcohol will not be served to customers under 20 years of age.
No Driving
As this event includes wine tasting, we kindly ask you not to come by car. There is no parking available at the venue.
