The maker

Established in 2011, Azgranata is a beverage manufacturer located in the South Caucasus region of Azerbaijan.

With 500 hectares of vineyards and 350 hectares of pomegranate orchards, they have earned organic certification from one of Germany’s leading organic certification authorities.

While practicing traditional organic farming methods, the company also boasts state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring high-quality production standards.

The grape

While considered a native variety of Azerbaijan, a theory also suggests that this grape originated in Armenia.

Known for its large, round fruits, this grape exhibits a crisp acidity, citrusy aroma, and refreshing mineral character.

Wines produced from Bayan Shirei are light, lively, and well-defined.

The English name "Bayan Shirei" is used synonymously with "Bayanshira."

The variety is successfully cultivated in Moldova, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan.
