The Elegance of Médoc Meets the Power of Napa
James Suckling's Notes
This Romanian Cabernet Sauvignon masterfully combines the structure reminiscent of Médoc with the body of a Napa Cabernet. Its aroma is rich with blackcurrant, graphite, and roasted red bell pepper nuances, which lead seamlessly into a full-bodied, concentrated palate. While its firm tannins provide depth, the refreshing brightness in the finish makes this wine incredibly appealing. Enjoy it now or savor it at its peak from 2025 onwards.

Tasting Notes
Appearance
Deep ruby color, tinged with garnet.
Nose
The aroma is intensely bold, dominated by black fruits. Notes of ripe black cherries, blackcurrants, and blueberries blend with spices (black pepper, cloves, cinnamon, anise), dark chocolate, coffee, and vanilla.
Palate
This dry wine boasts high alcohol content, abundant tannins, and rich, intense flavors. It has a solid structure, full body, and layers of ripe black fruits and herbal nuances (mint, eucalyptus). The finish is exceptionally long, with lingering black fruit and spice notes. While outstanding now, it will gain finesse with 8 to 10 years of aging.
Food Pairing
Pairs beautifully with beef teppanyaki, lean beef steak, roasted lamb, aged cheeses, and bitter chocolate mousse.
