Tasting notes
Appearance
Garnet with ruby reflections.
Nose
Rich and layered aromas of ripe blackberries, blackcurrants, mint, black pepper, and subtle pine, rounded by vanilla from barrel aging.
Palate
The entry is broad and voluminous. Well-structured, with rich tannins and moderate acidity delivering a harmonious balance. The flavor mirrors the nose, with mint, pine, and hints of toasted bread from oak maturation. Long and persistent finish.
Food pairing
Excellent with lamb or beef roast, hamburgers, game stews, and mature cheeses. Also a surprising match for dark chocolate.

Vineyard
- Ingredients: grapes
- Historical region: Muntenia
- Wine region: Dealurile Munteniei
- Subregion (Podgorie): Dealu Mare
- Commune: Vadu Săpat
- Village: Ungureni
- Vineyard owner: Vitis Metamorfosis
- Harvesting: manual, mid-September
- Vintage conditions (2017): High rainfall (778 mm) with peaks in spring, June, October, and November. Winter and spring brought unusually low temperatures (-15°C and -3°C). Despite this, the vines ripened uniformly and healthily, thanks to dry August–September weather and a harvest timed at full maturity.
