Tasting Notes
Appearance
Intense ruby-red.
Nose
Rich and expressive, the aromas burst with dark fruit notes—blackcurrants, black cherries, sour cherries, and blackberries—creating a captivating sensory experience. Subtle undertones of cloves, coffee, and dark chocolate, imparted by oak barrel aging, add depth and complexity.
Palate
This dry wine boasts a high alcohol content, abundant yet well-integrated tannins, and a bold, intense flavor profile. Its full-bodied character is supported by a solid structure, offering layers of ripe dark fruit complemented by a touch of spice. Despite its tannic richness, the wine remains smooth and beautifully balanced, delivering a refined and satisfying experience.
Food Pairing
An excellent match for hearty dishes such as game, lasagna with Bolognese sauce, grilled beef, roasted red meats, oven-baked lamb chops, and aged cheeses.
