The orchards are located in the picturesque backdrop of the Agsu district, on the Shirvan plain, near the southern slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountains. The winery owns 350 hectares of pomegranate orchards filled with the Gulovsha variety, considered the best pomegranate for making wines. The soils of this Shirvan terroir offer infinite richness which translates into great wines with unique characteristics that cannot be reproduced elsewhere, as visitors can taste for themselves while touring the vineyards.
The wine
“Agsu” pomegranate wine is made by fermentation of the juice obtained from the processing of the “Gulovsha” pomegranate variety, which is fully grown in the region of the same name. The application of technologies that allow the preservation of useful substances in pomegranate fruit in wine makes it a medicinal and dietary drink. This type of wine, distinguished by its pleasant red color and reminding pomegranate sourish taste with each drop, is a wonderful match with sweet desserts and fruits.
