About the Winery

Founded in 2014, Stori Winery is situated in the Tsinandali district of Georgia’s Kakheti region. Dedicated to reviving traditional Georgian winemaking, this small winery has gained recognition among wine lovers worldwide for its distinctive flavors and high quality.

The winery uses grapes exclusively from its own vineyards and crafts its wines in traditional qvevri cellars. All grapes are organically cultivated, with minimal preservative use.

Qvevris (clay vessels) are buried underground to naturally maintain stable temperatures, ensuring a consistent fermentation process. After fermentation, the qvevri is sealed, allowing for an additional 2-6 months of skin contact.

When opened, approximately 30% of the clear, top layer of wine (referred to as the “first fraction”) is bottled and exported.
