Tasting notes

  • Appearance
    Intense ruby with violet hues.
  • Nose
The nose is very rich. From the first sniff, we are captivated by primary aromas of ripe blackberries, blackcurrants, plums, and black cherries. I also detect some secondary aromas of chocolate, pepper, coffee, and toasted bread from contact with oak wood, but they are very discreet.
  • Palate
The wine style is undoubtedly New World. I suspect that to emphasize this, the producer chose to label the wine with the name Shiraz instead of the classic Syrah. Even the label is in line with the pleasant aromas and tastes of the wine, with a modern design clearly aimed at younger generations. The taste can be characterized by freshness, youthfulness, roundness, and lots and lots of fruit. The balance between fruitiness, acidity, and tannins is surprisingly pleasant. Personally, I rarely consume this style of red wine, but I confess that it brought a smile to my face with the explosion of youthfulness and frankness that enveloped my palate.
