Introductory notes

This is the most widely consumed classic-style white wine in Romania. The Fetească Regală grape variety has the largest cultivation area in Romania, ranging from cool to warm climates, making it a versatile grape variety.

The "Classic Fetească Regală" is very affordable and is a flagship Romanian brand. It's a perfect choice for everyday wine.

Tasting notes

  • Appearance
    A vibrant greenish-yellow.
  • Nose
Aromas of apple, peach, nectarine, apricot, pear, elderflower, lily, jasmine flowers, white rose, lemongrass, lemon, grapefruit, and chamomile.
  • Palate
This wine leans towards a medium-bodied to light-bodied style. The balance between acidity and flavor is superb. With about 2 to 3 years of aging, the wine will become smoother and rounder. While fruit-driven in flavor, delicate floral and herbal notes accentuate its elegance.
  • Food pairing
Recommended pairings include green salads with a light vinaigrette, slightly salty simple dishes, lightly seasoned mushroom dishes (such as butter-sautéed mushrooms), pan-fried white fish, creamy pasta dishes, sautéed chicken, and white fish sushi.
