The aroma is incredibly rich, displaying depth and complexity. It includes notes of red plum, red currant, blueberry, black plum, clove, vanilla, smoky tones, tobacco, charred wood, cedar, coffee, and a hint of leather and prune nuances. - Palate
It offers a robust overall taste with ample tannins, yet it retains the suppleness characteristic of Merlot. The aromas derived from ripe fruit and barrel aging evoke the qualities of a high-quality Bordeaux wine. The creamy notes from malolactic fermentation are subtle, with a more pronounced impression of vanilla, charred wood, and cedar from the barrel. The acidity provides solid support, making it a versatile choice that pairs well with a variety of dishes, suitable for both restaurant settings and everyday dining. - Food pairing
