Introductory notes

Nomad is the wine that Aurelia Vișinescu carried in her heart upon returning from her journeys through the vineyards of the world.

The nomad seeks taste in an ever-new, ever-modern context, is interested in new experiences, and views wine as a bridge between people.

A nomad knows how to connect the sensations created by wine with a memory from their travels. A landscape that impressed them, a piece of music that stirs feelings of longing, or a person they once loved are all tied to the tastes and smells of wine.

For the nomad, the world is a puzzle of sensations where the journey never ends, and travels are the joy of living.

Tasting notes

Appearance

Garnet red, clear and bright.

Nose

The intensity of the aroma is moderate. It's simple, with clean red fruit predominating. Aromas include raspberry, strawberry, wild strawberry, red plum, red currant, red cherry, cherry candy, fennel, lavender, violet, and hints of smoke. While delicate and fresh, it also exhibits a hint of creaminess derived from malolactic fermentation. A wine still in development.

Palate

It has a rounded mouthfeel with a smooth texture, offering a very pleasant drinking experience. The tannins are restrained, allowing for a charming sweetness derived from red fruit to spread. The balance between residual sugar and acidity is exquisite. It's dry, with a slightly high acidity. The alcohol content and flavor intensity are moderate, and with a medium body, it pairs well with a wide range of dishes. The finish is of medium length.

Food pairing

It pairs well with roasted duck in strawberry sauce, ratatouille, onion soup, mushroom dishes, liver pâté, roasted duck or chicken, grilled salmon, lean sashimi (tuna, bonito), sesame-dressed figs, sake-steamed dishes, prosciutto, yakitori, and pork dishes.

Other comments: It purely expresses the characteristics of the Pinot Noir variety and delivers performance beyond its price range. Recommended for Pinot lovers who prefer a fresh style without barrel aging.
