About the Winery
Founded in 2014, Stori Winery is located in the Tsinandali district of eastern Georgia's Kakheti region. A small winery aiming to revive traditional Georgian winemaking, Stori is highly regarded among wine enthusiasts worldwide for its distinctive flavors and high quality.
The winery uses only grapes from its own vineyards and crafts its wines in traditional qvevri cellars. All grapes are organically cultivated, with minimal use of preservatives.
Qvevris (clay vessels) are buried underground, naturally stabilizing the temperature to maintain a steady fermentation process. After fermentation, the qvevri is sealed for an additional 2-6 months of skin contact.
When opened, approximately 30% of the clear, top layer of wine (known as the “first fraction”) is bottled and exported.
Tasting Notes
Deep red, characteristic of the Saperavi grape. The wine is dense and concentrated with high polyphenol content, featuring notes of cherry from the grape and subtle nutty undertones from barrel aging. Soft tannins create a smooth texture.

Pairs well with home-cooked meals, pizza, barbecue, and curry dishes.
