Tasting notes

Appearance

A deep ruby color with garnet highlights and a brilliant sheen.

Nose

The bouquet is rich and offers layers of depth. Notes of black cherry, plum, dried plum, and blackcurrant are complemented by hints of vanilla, caramel, and dark chocolate.

Palate

A full-bodied wine with abundant yet smooth tannins. The ripe fruit flavors combined with the barrel aging evoke the quality of a fine Bordeaux. Acidity is pronounced, giving it balance. While the wine retains youthful fruit characteristics, elements from barrel aging are also noticeable, including a creamy texture and vanilla undertones. As time passes, the fruit and oak notes will integrate further, offering an even more harmonious balance. This wine can age for 8–12 years in the bottle.

Food pairing

Mature cheeses, roasted lamb, Bolognese sauce, rich mushroom dishes, grilled Kurobuta pork.
