The land, the climate, and the people of these places have created a symbiosis over many generations from which real treasures are born and grown.

Tasting notes

  • Appearance
Deep ruby color, tinged with purple.
  • Nose
The aroma is intensely bold, dominated by black fruits. It presents aromas of stewed plums, ripe black cherries, blackcurrants, and prunes, with nuances of spices (black pepper, nutmeg, cloves), dark chocolate, coffee, tobacco leaves, and vanilla.
  • Palate
The wine is dry and has a high alcohol content. The tannins are abundant, and the flavor is rich and intense. It has a solid structure and is full-bodied. It showcases nuances of ripe black fruits and plum jam, resulting in a wine with a satisfying mouthfeel. The finish is extremely long, leaving lingering notes of black fruits and spice from barrel aging. Still evolving, it will gain finesse if aged for 8 to 10 years. Overall, it is truly an outstanding wine.
  • Food pairing
It pairs well with beef teppanyaki, lean beef steak, roasted lamb, aged cheeses, and bitter chocolate mousse.
