- Harvesting: manual; in the middle of September; the grapes were carefully sorted to ensure the highest possible quality.
- Weather in the year of harvest: in 2017, there was relatively abundant rainfall in the Dealu Mare wine region (778 mm). The highest precipitation values were recorded in the spring months, as well as in June, October, and November. Additionally, the minimum temperatures recorded were very low in winter (-15°C) and spring (-3°C). The climatic factors of this year allowed for a uniform ripening of the grapes, which were harvested at full maturity towards the end of September. The lack of rainfall in August-September contributed to a healthy harvest.
