A stunning white that redefines balance and purity. This is why i keep coming back to Jidvei!

A truly beautiful wine from an outstanding producer. The nose is crystal-clear—refreshing, yet rich and complex. Each aroma is clean, precise, and beautifully expressed, with both grape varieties distinctly recognizable.

It’s been a while since I’ve encountered a white wine that strikes such a perfect balance: vibrant and refreshing, yet layered and full of depth.

My wine travels take me far and wide, often off the beaten path in search of something remarkable. But when it comes to clean, elegant whites, I find myself returning to Jidvei time and time again.

This wine is a shining example of what this exceptional producer is capable of. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Tasting notes

Appearance

Lemon-yellow with greenish hues.

Nose

The nose is crystal-clear and refreshingly bright, yet rich and layered. Aromas are precisely defined and beautifully expressed, with each grape variety contributing distinct character. Expect vivid notes of lemon, apple, grapefruit, lime, pineapple, peach, and hints of jasmine and daffodils. Subtle layers of acacia honey, fennel, hay, tomato leaf, and a touch of ginger add depth and complexity.

Palate

The palate is vibrant and crisp. A well-balanced acidity, medium body, and expressive fruit character come together seamlessly, creating a harmonious and invigorating tasting experience. The finish brings lingering retro-nasal notes of green apple, citrus, tomato leaf and a hint of ginger.

Food pairing

A natural match for grilled salted fish, yakitori (salt), hirame or tai sushi, Miyazaki-style chicken nanban, and teriyaki chicken. Also excellent on its own as an elegant and refreshing appetizer wine.
