Tasting notes

  • Appearance
A brilliant, purple-tinged deep ruby color.
  • Nose
The richness of the aroma is overwhelming. It reveals the true nature of the Feteasca Neagra grape. The predominant fruit aromas are easily recognizable. Notes of violets, strawberry, black cherry, sour cherry, blackberry, blueberry, plum, fig, and cassis are accompanied by hints of coffee, cocoa, clove, licorice, and black pepper.
  • Palate
A New World style fresh wine that delights with its youthfulness, freshness, and abundant fruitiness. The balance between acidity, tannins, and fruitiness is impeccably maintained, resulting in a wonderful mouthfeel and very pleasant drinking experience. Notes of black fruits with a hint of spice are discernible. The aftertaste is fruit-forward. It's dry with a moderate acidity. Tannins are somewhat pronounced, and the alcohol content is moderate. It has a medium body with rich flavors and a long finish.
