Introductory notes

Renowned British wine writer Oz Clarke hails Chateau Burgozone as Bulgaria's "leading producer of Viognier."

This boutique, family-owned winery is nestled on the scenic slopes of the Danube River in northern Bulgaria. Benefiting from a long, dry ripening season, it's an ideal location for crafting vibrant, fruit-forward Viognier wines.

At Chateau Burgozone, meticulous care is taken during grape sorting to ensure only the highest quality fruit makes it into the wine. The grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks, with an additional month of lees aging to enhance complexity before bottling and release.

The result is a lush white wine bursting with fresh citrus, white peach, and pineapple aromas. Its creamy, medium-bodied, with layers of tropical fruit on the palate. Delicate floral notes linger elegantly on the finish.
