The region

The Moravia region of the Czech Republic is a wine-producing area blessed a favorable natural environment. While mass production is not feasible here, the quality of wines from the Moravia region is internationally recognized. Particularly notable are the white wines known for their richness, fruity character, and spiciness.

Tasting notes

  • Appearance
    Clear pale lemon color.
  • Nose
The wine has fresh and intense aromas, typical of Sauvignon Blanc. Hints of grapefruit, apple, lime, grapes, lemon peel, pineapple, acacia flowers, wet stones, flint, lemongrass, and green grass. After a while in the glass, the aroma of passion fruit and lychee becomes more prominent.
  • Palate
It falls somewhere between medium-dry and dry, with a noticeable level of acidity. The balance between sugar and acidity is excellent, providing a refreshing and not overly sweet taste. The finish is crisp, making it very easy to drink. Initially, you can sense grassy and leafy flavors. Overall, it has strong hints of citrus fruits, but as you continue to enjoy it, tropical fruit flavors become more pronounced.
  • Food pairing
It pairs well with seafood. Adding herbs like thyme, basil, parsley, and rosemary can enhance the pairing even further. It complements dishes like white wine-steamed clams, herb-grilled scallops, shrimp cocktail with Genovese sauce, and sea bream basil carpaccio.
